I got it last night. ^_^ It's really good. The graphics especially. But the camera function is annoying me (probably because I'm used to my hacked Sims 2 one, though) and the game is quite slow, but that's most likely to do with my computer.

Anyway, I have a couple of pictures. One of my SimSelf (that doesn't really look like me XD) and the Grim Reaper. Yeah ... the first thing I really did was killed a sim. But that's because me and my sister wanted it to seem like his wife killed him. [Long Story - short.]

Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In July I pulled teh_shrimp's hair (-5 points). Last Friday I set saykendrawithme's puppy on fire (-66 points). In April I pushed shanny_bunny in the mud (-17 points). Last Tuesday I punched xfranziexx in the arm (-10 points). In February I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points). Yeeeah, sims crashed on me while I was sorting the pictures for my next update out. ): OH, AND BY THE BY, RACHOUEY, YOU'RE THE PLACEHOLDER. :D And if the update didn't already have like, 150 - 200 pictures, then maybe, just maybe, you would get some face-time. :P Seriously, it is SO LONG. SO FUCKING LONG. I don't know how I manage to write this shit. Ah well. I'LL JUST CUT IT DOWN TO LIKE, 125. God, I didn't realise how tedious writing updates is; I have to be in the right mood, and I DON'T HAVE TIME TO BE IN THE ~RIGHT MOOD. I HAVE TODAY, TOMORROW, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY LEFT. THEN I HAVE A HOLIDAY. NOT ENOUGH TIME. [/shouting] I really want to get a Halloween update out, too, but it depends how long it takes me to write this one. D:

In NaNo news... IT'S COMING. 11 days. Fuck. I'm not sure how much I can get done. I don't write much, but when I do, it's usually just "write as you go along, Patrick," with some of it planned before-hand in my head. I'm not sure if this will work for NaNo, though. In a Sim competition at boolprop, I wrote over 4000 words. And no, that wasn't over all, that was just one round. It didn't make it past that round, though, so it was a waste of time. xP But I figure it improved my writing a lot. I'm gonna try and get like, 3000+ words in a chapter. But I'm not going to strain myself; if a chapter wouldn't make sense with over 2500 words, then so be it; the next one will probably be longer.

Blah blah blah, I phail at simming. Well, not really -- I actually got quite a bit done in my legacy last night and this morning. :) IT WAS SO FUN.

Because I'm crazy and bored, I decided that I would (try) and do the "NaNoWriMo" challenge. The main idea is to write a 50,000 word story, running all the way through November (from start to finish--no before, no after). I've never tried it before, but I really hope I can complete it; it would really improve my writing. :)

Of couse, this means there won't be a legacy update during November (unless I hit a bit of writers block), so I'm going to TRY MY HARDEST to get the next chapter out by the end of this week (the update should include Jack leaving for college, btw), and then, on Halloween, hopefully I can release a special. =]

Anyway, I wanted some help. I've downloaded a new set of default eyes for my simmies, as I wasn't happy with some of the lyran ones (the blues and the grey were just a tad dull). They are by icnitos at MTS2, and I'd like to ask what you guys think of them. :)

Hey guys! This is a story that me and rachou_babou have been working on. :) I hope you enjoy it. Oh, and I'm still working on my legacy.

First of all: WOO! I'm still in BFTAF: NTM 5! I'm in seventh place, which just isn't good enough. LMAO. I know I can do better... well, the editing would look better if I didn't have to use that Maxis vampire skin. LOL. I'd be able to sharpen more. :P

Second of all: I drink too much coke. I swear that's how I'm putting on so much weight. 3/4/5 cans a day... is like drinking 900/1200/1500 calories a day. o___O;; I'm gonna have to stop that.

Third of all: Happy birthday to dicreasy & pixiesims ! :) I hope you both have a lot of fun today.

Fourth of all: Nothing really. :P I need to continue writing my legacy... wish me luck. I'm nearly half way through.

ignore the confusing sentence. xD but it amazes me -- i extracted all my legacy sims and put 'em in bodyshop, and all the females (gen. 2 i'm referring to, btw) look the same. ugh. >>; buuuut, what amazes me is how different Regina & Gwen look while still having the same facial structure. cool, huh? :P

you can probably see that i've changed default eyes -- i'm much happier with these ones as they show my sims' personalities so much better than the enayla ones. =D

ugh, it takes me too long to sim. V_v buuuut, at the moment i just need to do a bit more playing and writing. squee! i've shot a plotty scene, which you can see in a moment...
